Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers stunning views of the Dee river from the rooms, but service can be inconsistent. The location is ideal for exploring the town, and the dining experience is highlighted by gorgeous river views. Price may not always match the value received.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are beautifully decorated with character, featuring two beds and a huge refurbished bathroom with a gigantic separate shower. On a rainy afternoon, it felt so luxurious to have such a spacious bathroom instead of being confined to my bedroom. The service was exceptional, especially the receptionist who sorted us out with a table despite our reservation going astray and the attentive housekeeper who made sure our room was pristine. The location is perfect, directly on the banks of the River Dee, offering a delightful setting and easy access to the town center. The only downside was that being in the bar restaurant may not be ideal for those allergic to dogs, although it is fantastic for dog owners. The dining experience was pleasant, with a beautiful river view and delicious traditional food. Overall, a lovely hotel with a few minor drawbacks.
I had a lovely time at the hotel with its charming character rooms and pleasant ambiance. The service was impeccable, from sorting out our reservation hiccup to providing a warm welcome. The location on the banks of the Dee river was peaceful and picturesque, although the reception area was a bit hectic. Dining with gorgeous views was delightful, but the price of the food was a bit steep. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
